What have I done?
Why my fire has gone out?
I used to dance with You in great delight
But I suddenly stepped out and swayed in the world’s sight
Is there any point of return?
I keep chasing after You my God!
I keep looking for Your light
This painful drowning, oh, I wanna fight!
Why can’t I feel You?
Why can’t I hear Your voice?
Can You still see me in my agony?
Do you still hear my voice of regret?
I thirst for You. I hunger.
I am in deep desperation.
Oh God I beg!
I wanna go back to Your heart
I lose my fire but I want it back
I need You God
I need Your love
Yet I know that Your mercy shall never leave me
I know Your forgiveness is never-ending
And Your love oh God is everlasting
Therefore;
Steady me,
Take the lead and I will follow
Spin me round and round in Your love
I will rejoice in Your Salvation
My heart will sing of Your Redemption
And I will dance by Your grace forever!
